Minimum qualifications

Candidates should possess one of the following qualifications:

• M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Eng., or HND in:

  • Electrical Engineering

  • Mechatronics Engineering

  • Instrumentation Engineering

  • Automation Engineering

  • Electro-Mechanical Engineering

  • Control Systems Engineering

  • Or a closely related discipline.

• Professional certifications in relevant fields will be an advantage.

Industry experience

The ideal candidate should possess practical experience in:

• Industrial Automation Systems

• PLC Programming & Troubleshooting

• Industrial Instrumentation & Control Systems

• Calibration of Process Instruments

• Sensors and Transmitters (Level, Pressure, Flow, Temperature)

• Control Valves and Actuators

• SCADA Systems

• Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

• Industrial Control Panel Design and Wiring

• Process Control and Industrial Measurement Systems

Experience working with automation platforms from the following companies is preferred:

• Siemens

• Allen Bradley

• Schneider Electric

• ABB

• Emerson Electric

• Honeywell

• Yokogawa Electric

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-level technical training programs in Automation, Instrumentation, and Process Control Engineering.

• Conduct hands-on practical training in PLC programming, instrumentation calibration, sensors, actuators, and control systems.

• Develop and update training materials, manuals, case studies, and laboratory exercises based on industry best practices.

• Evaluate trainee competence through technical assessments, practical demonstrations, and project-based learning.

• Provide technical mentorship and coaching to engineers and technicians undergoing training.

• Assist with the execution of industrial automation and instrumentation projects.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of ETL’s engineering training programs.
