Responsibilities

Electrical systems: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, while diagnosing faults and ensuring consistent power supply to machinery.

Maintenance and repairs: Carry out routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems, including motors, switches, sensors, and control panels.

Instrumentation: Calibrate, maintain, and repair sensors, meters, and controllers to ensure accurate process measurements and control.

Emergency response: Respond promptly to faults, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Preventive maintenance: Develop and execute maintenance schedules, conducting regular inspections and tests to prevent equipment failure.

Safety compliance: Follow all electrical safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement preventive measures against hazards.

Housekeeping and GMP: Maintain clean and organized workspaces in line with GMP requirements and ensure proper disposal of related waste materials.

Documentation: Record all maintenance, repairs, calibration activities, and inventory details, and prepare required reports.

Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external vendors for technical support, repairs, upgrades, and staff training when necessary.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, or a related discipline.

3–5 years of experience operating refining equipment within the food processing industry, specifically vegetable oil processing.

At least 3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment.

Knowledge of safety procedures, use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Ability to perform quality checks, maintain accurate records, adjust processing parameters, and uphold GMP cleanliness standards.

Strong communication skills for effective coordination and reporting.
