Key responsibilities

  • Perform admitting and registration procedures for patients receiving both outpatient and inpatient services at UK HealthCare.

  • Collect co-payments and other payments from patients during the registration process.

  • Maintain accurate administrative records and support clerical operations.

  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in patient service delivery.

Required education

  • High School diploma (HS).

Required related experience

  • Minimum of 3.5 years of related experience.

Physical requirements

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods while performing repetitive tasks such as typing.

  • Walking, including pushing, pulling, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.

  • Occasionally pushing, pulling, or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work schedule

  • On-call shifts available during daytime and evening hours.

  • Shifts may include weekends and holidays.

  • Opportunities for 4, 8, and 12-hour shifts, totaling approximately 15–37.5 hours per week.

  • This position may currently qualify for additional shift differentials.
