Job overview
Evans Industries Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor to support production and maintenance operations within the facility. The role involves performing equipment inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure machines operate efficiently while maintaining compliance with the company’s Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) standards.
The position also requires maintaining spare parts inventory, assisting in operational improvement initiatives, and supporting production staff in applying preventive maintenance practices.
Key responsibilities

Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance in a safe manner, following Evans TPM standard procedures.

Conduct routine inspections of machines to ensure proper functionality.

Install or replace new and reconditioned repair parts when necessary.

Perform basic troubleshooting on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Maintain up-to-date inventory records of mechanical spare parts.

Clean and lubricate gears, shafts, bearings, and other machinery components while documenting all maintenance activities.

Support the company’s overall operational improvement programs.

Minimize machine downtime by educating production staff on preventive maintenance practices and monitoring compliance.

Perform additional responsibilities assigned by management when required.
Requirements

Minimum qualification of Trade Test 1, 2, or 3.

Strong mechanical technical skills.

Knowledge and experience with soap production machines, including stamper, plodder, mixer, and over-wrapper machines.

Good communication skills.
