Dover Engineering is seeking a Lifting and Rigging Work Planner to support maintenance planning and coordination activities. Key responsibilities

Conduct long-range planning, including routine analysis of maintenance backlog in relation to available resources.

Perform short-range planning by reviewing work orders (excluding emergency notifications) to ensure they clearly define the scope of work, meet assigned priority criteria, and represent valid maintenance requests within the approved expense budget.

Plan work initiated by various stakeholders, ensuring required resources are available and that activities align with Asset Maintenance Plans, asset criticality requirements, and Service Level Agreements where applicable.

Review and schedule Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.

Prepare detailed work packages for each planned maintenance activity, considering HSSE requirements, cost, and execution time.

Maintain a library of norms for work packages used during maintenance execution.

Record critical information from work execution feedback forms for future reference, including updates to parts data, identification of failure codes, updates to reusable job plans, and documentation within the PACER system.

Support the IAPS focal person in developing the functional Integrated Activity Plan/Schedule (IAPS) under the Asset Management System (AMS).

Review the approved shutdown scope list from NLNG Turnaround that may impact resource allocation for routine maintenance work orders in the Preventive Maintenance System (PMS).

Conduct field visits to confirm that work activities are executed in accordance with approved plans.
Education requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering, with computer literacy.
Experience requirements

Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Planner within an engineering, maintenance, or project management team in the Oil and Gas industry.

CISRS certification is mandatory.
